I think it is important that we remember this.

Every artist was first an amateur.

Every man was first a boy.

Every woman was first a girl.

Every story was first a word.

I know we are focused on Next and Last, but let's never lose track of First.

In this society of ours, why do you think we are more focused on destinations than departures, ends than beginnings? Do you think we can transcend this bottom line thinking if we try?
