Brilliant Words. Oh, & This Bag.
Okay. So, Sister T came over for dinner last night. It was a casual affair. A little takeout. A little chit-chat. We sat around the dining table which was an accomplishment as we tend to be couch- and kitchen-island-surfers of late. All good. After dinner, two things happened. One, Husband put on a video of a recent commencement speech. Two, I tried on my sister's bag. Both: Amazing.
The video: It was Twitter CEO's Dick Costolo's speech at the University of Michigan this past weekend. It was so humorous and inspiring that I plan to watch it approximately a million times.

One of my favorite bits:
"Not only can you not plan the impact you're going to have, you often won't recognize it when you're having it…The impact is what others frame for you and the world after it happens. The present is only what you're experiencing and focused on right now…You cannot draw that path looking forward. You cannot draw any of your paths looking forward. You have to figure out what you love to do, what you have conviction about, and go do that."
The bag: A Jess Rizzuti bag. It's sleek, but roomy. Big enough for me to haul my beloved and beleaguered laptop. I'm totally, wildly smitten. A disclaimer: Sister T works at Lionesque Style where this bag is currently featured, but no matter. I want this baby. And now.
So, there you have it. Some incredible words and a fabulous bag. What more could you ask for on this glorious Wednesday?
xoxo, ADR
{Oh, and in case you missed my later-in-the-day post yesterday, here it is. I'm giving away 3 great books if that's your kind of thing.}
