Apparently, Gwyneth Paltrow has announced that she will be living off of food stamps for a week as part of her friend Mario Batali's "Food Bank Challenge," where people are invited to limit their family's food budget to $31 per week, which amounts to $1.38 per meal. When I read about this, I thought: That seems like a cool idea to raise awareness about an important issue. But not so fast. Now, Gwyneth is (perhaps unsurprisingly?) getting eaten alive online for her food stamp budget. What do you think this is all about? Do people just love to hate this GOOPer? Are you a Gwyneth fan?
